Blended Training

A combination of in-person sessions with experienced INSPIRE TEXAS instructors and online coursework, blended training provides thorough preparation for you to lead a classroom. You have the opportunity to ask questions and receive immediate feedback on your progress.

Clinical Teaching Timelines
Clinical teaching allows you to practice before you teach on your own. It is an unpaid, 14-week assignment in which you will teach alongside an experienced, certified teacher. Clinical teaching is a shorter route to certification than the teaching internship, which lasts one year. 
IMPORTANT DEADLINES
 

Fall 2021
  • Application deadline: April 12th
  • Requirements deadline: July 23rd
  • Clinical orientation: August 11th
  • Start Date: August 25th
  • End Date: December 13th

Spring 2022 
  • Application deadline: October 8th
  • Requirements deadline: December 7th
  • Clinical orientation: January 5th
  • Start Date: January 10th
